If you have any questions about how we handle your data or wish to exercise your rights, you can reach us at the address above or by email.

2. What Data We Collect and Why

This is a static informational website. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics scripts, or any other technology that collects data automatically as you browse.

The only personal data we collect is what you voluntarily provide when you use our contact form. Specifically:

  • Name — so we know who we are speaking with
  • Email address — so we can reply to your enquiry
  • Subject — to route your message to the right person
  • Message — the content of your enquiry

The legal basis for processing this data is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — processing is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract or to handle a pre-contractual enquiry — and, where applicable, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding to business communications directed at us).

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the information you submit through the contact form solely to respond to your enquiry and to conduct any follow-up communication that arises from it. We do not use your contact details for any other purpose, and we do not share them with third parties unless we are legally required to do so.

We will never sell your personal data or pass it to any third party for marketing purposes.

4. Cookies and Tracking

This website does not use cookies of any kind — neither technically necessary cookies, preference cookies, nor any form of analytics or marketing tracking. No data is collected about your browsing behaviour on this site.

5. Data Retention

We retain the personal data you submit via the contact form for as long as it is necessary to handle your enquiry and any follow-up communication, and thereafter for as long as required to comply with applicable legal retention obligations.

In practice, general business correspondence is typically retained for up to 6 years in accordance with German commercial and tax law (§ 257 HGB, § 147 AO). Once the retention period expires, your data is securely deleted.

6. Your Rights Under the GDPR

As a data subject under the GDPR, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data. You can exercise any of these rights by contacting us at info@gtg.green.

Right of Access (Art. 15) You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you and information about how it is processed.
Right to Rectification (Art. 16) You may ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data we hold about you.
Right to Erasure (Art. 17) You may ask us to delete your personal data where there is no longer a lawful basis for us to hold it.
Right to Portability (Art. 20) You may receive your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format and transfer it to another controller.
Right to Restriction (Art. 18) You may ask us to restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances — for example, while a dispute about accuracy is resolved.
Right to Object (Art. 21) Where processing is based on our legitimate interests, you may object at any time. We will stop processing unless we have compelling grounds.

We will respond to all legitimate requests within one month. If your request is complex or you have submitted multiple requests, we may extend this period by a further two months, in which case we will notify you.

7. Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe that our processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The supervisory authority responsible for GTG Green's registered address in North Rhine-Westphalia is:

Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LDI NRW)

You may also contact the supervisory authority in the EU member state of your habitual residence or place of work if you prefer.

8. Data Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure, or access. These measures are regularly reviewed and updated as required.
